Frothy Cranberry Cocktail

Can I just say, it is finally socially acceptable to decorate for Christmas and I couldn't be any happier to add twinkling lights to My Tiny Cook Spot!

I have really enjoyed experimenting with eggs when it comes to cocktails. The ingredient adds this wonderful silky mouthfeel along with a beautiful white foam that sits delicately on top. Giving the drink an airiness that is sometimes missing. Pair that with a tart homemade cranberry juice and you have a Christmas-y cloud in a glass!

Per Cocktail

  • 2 Oz Gin

  • 1.5 Oz Homemade Cranberry Juice, the recipe can be found HERE

  • 1 Egg White

  • Lemon Zest for Garnish

Before use, shake the container of juice, since it is homemade all the sediment will have sunk to the bottom leaving the top liquid a mere shadow of flavor. So please, mix that goodness back up!

In a cocktail shaker over ice add juice, gin, and egg white. Let the cubes mix the egg and turn the gelatinous white into an aerated froth. Strain the liquid into your desired glass, I chose a big belled wine glass instead of a traditional coupe glass. I felt as if it added a level of drama.

Over the top of your foam lightly zest a lemon for garnish. Cheers, and enjoy!
